Some things never change: your monthly credit card bill, Gisele’s killer hairdo, and the way a guy acts around a woman he likes. That’s right—men are incredibly conspicuous when they have a crush on a female (and we like that!).
Here’s what to look for if you think he might have a crush on you:
He smiles—a lot. He flashes a big grin every time he sees you, no matter what the situation. (He could be in his boss’ office being shouted at, but if he glimpses you through the window he’ll still give you that melting smile.) Try returning it.
Lots of eye contact. He is always trying to catch your eye, and is always the first to make eye contact and hold it. This could be in a bar, at Starbucks, or across from you in the cafeteria.
He talks about you to his friends, family or co-workers. If his friends, co-workers or family members seem to already know you the first time you meet them, this means he is talking, talking, talking about you. When you have a crush on someone, don’t you love the sound of his name? Well, men are no different. If he’s talking you up, it’s a very good sign that he has a crush.
He is willing to do whatever you ask. Need a ride to pick up your car? Paper for the printer? Change for the vending machine? He has got whatever you need and is ready, willing and able to provide it to you.
He has a different voice just for you. You know what I mean: it’s softer, kinder, more enticing. We do the same thing, so watch for this. It may even be so obvious that you notice people around the two of you smiling when they hear him using “your” voice.
He goes out of his way to see you or seems to pop up everywhere. You go to the cafeteria at lunch, and he’s there. You’re shopping for chips and salsa, and he’s there. Now, this could also mean he’s a stalker, so be careful—but don’t let it spook you. Didn’t you know your crush’s schedule in high school so you could be lingering near his locker? It’s the same thing here. He is looking for opportunities to be near you.
His habits change. He doesn’t drink coffee but now he’s ordering a tall latte every morning right around the time you do. He used to be in at 7:30, but now you find yourself walking in to work with him at 8:30 every morning. Everyone knows he runs to keep in shape, but now he’s on the elliptical next to yours at the gym. He’s looking for opportunities to get closer!
Can someone help me in understanding?
My boss makes eye contact and he caught me watching him quite a few times and he started talking a little bit and he even jokes - for someone who never talked to women, never been friendly to women etc... I am crushing hard and strong on my boss. He is 35 years (single) and I am 25 years (I am divorced). He has a reputation of hard worker and he never had flings. For him, his work is his worship.
:( I am totally sad about this situation.
