Rihanna To Front A Reality Series

Rihanna's new fashion endeavour

Capitalizing on her fashion momentum, Rihanna is gearing up to front a new fashion reality series which, according to Vogue UK, "aims to find Britain's future design star."

Co-hosted by Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts, Rihanna's new series will air on Sky Living in the UK, and will air over 10 weeks as competitors create outfits for various musicians and celebrities.

Clearly, Rihanna is excited.

"I've always had a love of great fashion," said Rihanna. "It's a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I've grown into the person and artist I am today. I have been very fortunate to work with some truly amazing designers and stylists throughout my career, and they have been instrumental in making sure my creative vision reaches the stage."

"I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants," Rihanna continued. "And see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show."

Of course, Rihanna's got a personal stake in the game: the winner of the series will design Rihanna's stage outfit for her Hyde Park Wireless performance in July. That, and she'll be part of the creative process from the very beginning.

"Rihanna is perfectly placed to find an aspiring designer worthy of the chance to break into the hugely competitive world of fashion," released Sky Living's website. "Tasking Nicola to front the search, Rihanna will be heavily responsible for casting and will be involved in editing post production."
