MAC's history of working with cutting-edge musicians continues with Beth Ditto of The Gossip, who's earned attention for her bold, eccentric beauty style. A darling of the fashion industry, Beth Ditto has just signed with MAC Cosmetics for a "limited edition collaboration." According to Women's Wear Daily, the singer will create signature products that will hit shelves in June - just in time for those hot summer days where we feel like our makeup selection needs a re-vamp. (Mostly because it is running down our faces.)

However, Beth Ditto's alignment with MAC isn't new: she performd at the New York store on 2011's Fashion's Night Out. Therefore, it only makes sense that she joins the ranks of Daphne Guinness and Isis Apfel who created stunning, bold collections for MAC.

In celebration of the union, Beth Ditto actually attended Gala Sidaction Diner de la Mode as a guest of John Demsey, group president of Estee Lauder Cos. Inc. and chairman of the MAC AIDS Fund, and Karen Buglisi, MAC global brand president.

Get ready for Beth Ditto to become a household name. (Finally!)
