As the weather starts to mellow, we can peek out from beneath our knitted hat cocoons. Moreover, we can kiss hathead goodbye and embrace the gorgeous hairstyles that emerge with our exposed hair in spring. Top them off with one of this season’s trendy hair accessories. Read on for our favourites.

Headbands

These are lifesavers for spring’s unpredictable weather. Whether it’s windy, rainy, or hotter than you expected, a headband will keep your hair in shape. Layer a few thin ones for a casual weekend look, or choose an embellished one like Forever 21’s Adorned Mesh Headwrap, $6.

Hair combs

Sky high buns are hot for spring. Try a casually undone ballerina bun (if you’re having a hard time visualizing this, take a gander at your friendly neighbourhood hipster crowd for inspiration). Top it off with a decorative comb like Urban Outfitter’s Oversized Leaf Hair Comb, $12.
