Summer Date Ideas in Toronto

If you live in Toronto or just visiting, here are a few fun and romantic ways to experience the city in the summertime!

Blue Jays Game

Prove you can hang with the guys and get a little liquid courage at a baseball game. Blue is flattering on any skin tone so wear the team colours to support the home team. Try to go alone to the game with him; while it’s fun to see sporting events in groups, you two can connect over other summer memories or sneak in a steamy makeout sesh in between innings.

Speakeasy

Nothing is sexier than mystery. Toronto has a few secret cocktail bars that appear on the outside to be psychics or are hidden in restaurants. The Libertine is a cool speakeasy on Dundas West that serves up amazing gin cocktails and strong drinks, and has a tarot card reader on site if you want to ask a question about your date. The place can get busy, so get a reservation and you can even do a little role play and pretend you’re back in the 1920s.

Salsa Club

Whether you two are Dirty Dancers or have two left feet, a salsa club is the perfect summer date. For the experienced set, Babaluu in Yorkville has incredible salsa nights where you can dance all night as foreplay to more exciting positions. If you’re looking to learn, Lula Lounge has live salsa and for the $15 cover on some nights, you also get an introductory dance lesson included.

Cabana Pool Bar

Don’t be intimidated by the muscled men and girls in skimpy bikinis. This pool bar in the Portlands has amazing views of the city and is a great place to cool off in a pool while enjoying drinks. If it’s in your budget, a private cabana offers privacy and bottle service.

Ward’s Island

Hop on a ferry and visit Ward’s Island. The residential area is quaint and has a beautiful, quiet and secluded beach, which is perfect for sneaking an afternoon makeout session. If you're feeling a bit adventurous, visit Hanlan's Point Beach and get a little freaky going au naturel!

Rodney’s Oyster House

Oysters are a known aphrodisiac. Indulge in some foodie foreplay at Rodney’s on King West, a classy seafood restaurant that serves several oyster varieties that are plucked from their own oyster bed in P.E.I.

Wine tasting on bikes

Go for a quick day trip or stay one night in the Niagara region. You can indulge in wine tastings or go on a winery bike tour so that you can drink and bike through the beautiful Niagara countryside, before getting back to your quaint bed and no breakfast.

Sexy picnic in High Park

The massive High Park is the perfect place to set up a secluded sexy picnic. Pack gourmet foods like cheese, cherries and chocolate, before cuddling up with your beau in a blanket.
