Madonna is currently on her MDNA world tour and, as we all have expected, her tour demands are anything but simple. Being the Queen of Pop, the singer’s tour rider shows how she prepares for each show.
“Madonna has probably the longest list of requirements of any of the world’s music stars,” a source said. “She expects things to be just right or it puts her off her stage show.”
Each backstage dressing room must be equipped with at least 20 phone lines that are able to make international calls. The 53-year-old also demands that her dressing room is draped in specific fabrics and decorated with lilies and white and light-pink roses with stems that are cut to 6-inches long.
Madonna requests that her 200-person entourage ensures that her hotel room is emptied and then filled with her own furniture that travels with her. When it is time for her to rest after each show, Madonna wants to feel at home.
“She requires all furniture to be removed from the rooms and replaced with her own pieces that she has shipped in,” another insider said.
Of the 200 people that Madonna travels with, she has 30 bodyguards, personal chefs, her own yoga instructor, an acupuncturist and her very own dry cleaner.
