The Best Fall Makeup Palettes

Fall is such a sexy time for makeup: cooler temperatures mean you can get away with deeper, sultrier colours and textures, but its not so cold that all you care about is extra thick moisturizer and balm.

Additionally, all the fashion weeks are happening, which can inspire and excite us, leading us to maybe experiment a little with some lip colour or a more matte texture. With no lack of choice, here are fall’s best makeup palettes to beautify you in the most gorgeous way.

Too Faced I'll Stop The World & Melt With You Fall 2014 Full Face Collection, $70

There are many reasons why I love Too Faced, and their glow-imparting face palettes is definitely a top one. This set, which actually boasts two palettes, graciously includes their Sweethearts Perfect Flush Powder Blush in Peach Beach, which is adorably housed in a pink heart shaped tin and gives that elusive glow that says “I’ve slept 8 hours every night this week and drank 2 litres of water a day!” Throw in an eyeshadow palette that can create a natural or smoky look, their (arguably, but still really good) Better Than Sex Mascara, their new and luxe-looking Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick and an eyeshadow primer and you may not even need another trip to Sephora all season long.

NARS And God Created The Woman Part 2 Palette, $68

NARS makeup is pretty much a woman’s best friend. Highlighting all her features and best qualities while magically concealing and erasing all imperfections is pretty much all a girl can ask for. The cheeky and empowering names don’t hurt, either, with their And God Created The Woman palette being a prime example of all these qualities. This season, and back by popular demand (and for damn good reason) NARS treats us to their second eyeshadow palette made for making eyes look absolutely alluringly stunning. A mix of shimmery and matte shades, the compact houses six shadows that range from peachy nude to deep chocolatey brown, which all look incredible in any combination. Amen.

M.A.C A Novel Romance A Passionate Quest Eyeshadow Palette, $48 (Available until October 2nd)

Somehow making Harlequin Novels look ultra chic, M.A.C draws inspiration for its fall collection from the love struck characters found in the lusty pages of notoriously tacky romance reads. With “deep, luscious shades that will leave you feeling overwhelmed with desire, passion mounts, and these hues fan the flames of your deepest emotions, as an amorous adventure begins.” Set a fire ablaze this fall with their eyeshadow palette in A Passionate Quest, which features four sultry shades of light pink, rich eggplant, burgundy and violet. The highly pigmented powder formulas apply evenly and blend and build beautifully, and can play up your features in a sweet or seductive way.
