Backstage Beauty at The shOws Toronto

A handful of Canada’s best fashion exports returned to Toronto to showcase their latest collections at the shOws. The successful event, hosted by Paula Fullerton Inc, is an opportunity for the media, buyers and stylists to get a closer look at the designs and chat with the designers.

This season’s event featured runways shows from Comrags, Jean Pierre Braganza, Tanya Taylor, Stephen Tai and Jeremy Laing.

As always, we’re interested in the hair and makeup that helps bring these collections to life. The brand sponsors for this season’s shows were CoverGirl and Pantene. We were there as Greg Wencel, CoverGirl Makeup Pro and Justin German, Pantene Consulting Stylist and their teams prepared each model backstage.

I purchase Cover Clean luqiid Makeup 120 Creamy natural .Recently I purchased Cover Girl CG Smoothers Aqua makeup to try.I wasn’t sure what shade so I got 720 creamy natural since the description was the same as far as color. This turned out to be a totally different much lighter shade than the 120 Creamy natural in the CG Clean Makeup line. I really can’t use it. Why can’t you match shades or #s from line to line?I wasted $8.00 on this Aqua product that is way too light for my skin tone.
